THE BALSAMS SIGNATURE GRANOLA

INGREDIENTS

    • 10 cups Rolled Oats
    • 2 cups Walnuts Halves and Pieces
    • 2 cups Slivered Almonds
    • 2 cups Sesame Seeds (White)
    • 2 cups Wheat Germ (Bran can be substituted)
    • 2 cups Snowflake Coconut
    • 2.5 cups Canola Oil
    • 2 cups Honey
    • 1 cup Raisins
    • 1 cup Dried Currents (Dried Cranberries can be substituted)

DIRECTIONS

  1. Combine first 6 dry ingredients
  2. Bring Oil and Honey to a boil, add to above, and mix to combine evenly
  3. Spread out on oiled sheet pans and bake at 350 degrees
  4. Periodically stir Granola as it is baking
  5. Once everything is a consistent golden brown, cool on pans
  6. Once cool, break up into chunks
  7. Add dried fruit and store in an air-tight container
